Controlling Others
Control of others is a false precept. There is a more true assertion known as an influence. We can influence others, but in the end, we cannot control them. They still act in their perceived best self-interest. If we set up a situation where self-interest also happens to serve our own then we have influenced them to meet our needs. Control seems to be the thing we do by placing animals in cages and feeding them at certain times. The influence appears to be the recognition of the system within which we live and the psychology that guides us all.
