Mindset

If someone insults us and we become angry, we have two choices to combat against future instances of this. The first is to take into account our successes and strengths. If we take this inventory, we will become confident in our abilities. If we are confident, then insults do not bother us because we know them to be false. If, on the contrary, we realize the slander is correct, we can choose to instead of becoming angry about it, take account of it. This insult can then be used as fuel and clarity around where we need to improve in our lives.
