Occam's Razor

Perhaps you are familiar with the phrase, the simplest solution is probably the correct one. This statement is a simplified version of Occam’s Razor, which is more appropriately formulated as the most straightforward path to an answer is the correct one. The key here is that the different ways that are being contemplated end up at the same goal. It cannot be used to choose between paths that end up with varying results. Let’s say we want to avoid getting COVID-19. Then by this theory, the most straightforward approach is the proper one. Long story short, if we simplify our procedures to life, then we can live in less fear because we know we are doing what is necessary.
