Are we creative or good at solving problems?
Creativity and problem solving are different. Problem-solving is the application of some tool or method to create the desired outcome or to correct some unwanted situations. Creativity, on the other hand, is the formation of these tools and techniques to then later be applied to the solution of a challenge. The key difference here is that creativity is a generative process. That is to say, we need to have a vast amount of data and knowledge on a subject, and then we can culminate it into a new approach or method for carrying out a solution to an issue. One is much more complex and mentally taxing than the other.
