What does leisure mean?

The fact that I have time to create a blog and videos means that I have leisure time. This “free time” is produced by abundance. Many folks around the world do not have this luxury. Therefore, it makes sense to me that we need to cherish and honor this time. Some people must work two or three jobs to make ends meet. Leisure means that we can pursue things that are interesting and rewarding to us. As Abraham Maslow would say, leisure gives us time to achieve self-actualization, the highest state on his hierarchy of human needs.
