Judgment
This last component in the fuel for shame Brene Brown tells us is judgment. This one is fascinating because we all do it all of the time. We continually go around and judge other people. It seems to me to be ingrained in our DNA. If we were in a tribe, and we came into contact with a neighboring group, we had to make a split-second judgment as to whether they were friend or foe. The noteworthy thing is that if we chose wrong in that situation, we were dead. So our ancestors who survived not only judged, but they did it very well.
