Secrets
Secrets are another constituent of shame, according to Brene Brown. This one seems to speak voluminously about that person. I don’t remember when the last time was that I had a secret. I think that as adults, our “secrets” become a bit more refined. Instead of a real secret, they come in the form of talking behind someone’s back. This action still seems to speak about a person’s maturity. I’m not saying that I am innocent here, but I do try to keep this sort of drama and gossip to a minimum.
