Identifying the Issue

Once we are well aware of ourselves and others around us, we can begin to see how other’s actions differ from what it is that we value. It is when people treat us differently than what we are willing to allow, that boundaries are crossed. This overstepping can come in many different forms. This concept could be a friend exposing information about us that we would rather keep private, or someone volunteering us to do something that we’d rather not. We could also sign up for something that we don’t want to do in fear of disappointing another. It is when we do not take action to reform their encroachment that problems ensue.
