Meaning

We, as humans are meaning-making machines. We assign meanings to things, people, and situations consistently. The interesting thing is most of the purpose we have is constructed based on social interactions. This idea is to say; we assign value to people, places, objects, and actions depending on how our cohort reacts to them. Items are valuable if others think that they are valuable, things are shameful and immoral if others think things are shameful and immoral. It is not until we become well self-differentiated that we can start ascribing meaning for ourselves.
