Con-tempt
/kənˈtem(p)t/ the feeling that a person or a thing is beneath consideration, worthless, or deserving scorn. This idea seems to stem from the idea that some humans are more valuable than others. It makes sense that when we let our ego run wild, we place ourselves at the center of the universe. There we try to put all people below us to make our unstable ego feel better. This mindset, in reality, is not true but will allow other people to harbor resentment toward us if we treat them in such a manner. It seems essential to keep in mind that we are all intrinsically valuable because we are human.
