Their Eyes
When we are evaluating the basis upon which we are becoming angry, it is essential to see the world through the eyes of the other. What was their intention? How many times have they done this before? They, like us, are human. We, as humans, are entirely fallible creatures. We nominally act out of our best intentions. So when someone else does us harm, we must ask, am I capable of the same mistake? If the answer is yes, and it is almost inevitably a yes, then how can we become angry with our neighbor? We must keep in mind that we are in no way better or worse than our neighbor in terms of our capacity to do wrong. It is our choice on how to train to reduce the occurrence of those wrongs.
