F.E.A.R

Les Brown introduced me to the acronym for FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real. Now, of course, this is not always the case. However, in a society filled with as much prosperity, abundance, and security from harm and crime, we often overblow our fears. There is often much more fear in our lives as compared to what should be experienced when contemplating the given situation. It seems essential to keep this in mind and ask ourselves, is this an actual and imminent threat, or is it a monster that our brain is creating?
