What do we know?
It’s wild to see all of the misinformation and downright lies being propagated in a time like this. Of course, it is always like this, but it seems as though in times of panic, it is more forthright. We are so quick to judge and to come to a conclusion when the evidence is sparse and the data weak. We often lack conclusive data for saying much about what’s happening in the world, our community, or ourselves. This concept is the state of not knowing a potentially frightening place. We, as humans, crave certainty. It makes sense that in times of increased uncertainty, we would fabricate stories to tell ourselves that there is some shred of certainty abound. Until we become okay with not knowing, our life will be either filled with lies or frightening to no end.
