Accepting what it is
My main takeaway from the “Mind Styles” is that we are all different in how we learn. Now, if we fit into four neat quadrants, I’m not so sure. What this means to me is that we do interpret the world differently. How we do that is unique to our individual selves to some degree, and that way is alright. It is not up to someone else to tell us that our way of thinking is right or wrong, good or bad, smart or stupid. Labels here distort and oversimplify an extraordinarily complex reality. I think that we all learn and interpret the world a bit differently and that it’s beautiful, much like each snowflake is not quite like any other ever made, or ever to be made.
