The End

I’ve never directly spoken with anyone who has claimed this, but I can imagine times when people conclude their lives, and they are filled with regret. If we fear the end and use that as leverage to propel us through every day, then perhaps, in the end, we won’t have as many regrets. The timeless adage states, carpe diem, or seize the day. If we allow a bit of fear of the end to permeate our lives, we will be driven to capture each day for all it’s worth. Maybe meditating on death is the antidote to the daily doldrums of drudgery.
