Men's Group

I am a strong proponent of creating a space where men can share with other men with what it is that they are struggling. In my search for more knowledge and wisdom in this area, I stumbled upon a cult. I went to a Men’s Group that seemed reasonably healthy. It was not until they started to try to get me to go to a “Men’s Weekend” that I realized something was awry. I was looking on their website, and they had to answer the question of “Is this group a cult?” To me, that was a red flag. If a group leader needs to answer the question of is this a cult, then the group is a cult. This notion was especially evident when I read about the ceremony where humiliation and severe pressure were applied during the “confidential” weekend.
